Updates

06/07/07 ~ Sandra Huggett Online has moved to a new location and has also had a mini revamp - hope you like the new look :) I am beginning to re-do the gallery as the pictures that were there were horrendous quality, so I will gradually replace them with proper screencaps (thanks to Saz, my new official screencapping person!)

Sandra has appeared in two episodes of Doctors as two different characters.

The first episode that Sandra starred in was the episode ‘Humble Pie’, first aired on the 25th October 2002. She played the relative of a patient, called Gina Minto

When we first see Gina she is on the phone, being told that her daughter (Amy) has not turned up for school that morning. A while later, Amy arrives back at home with Lawrence, Gina’s brother, who was supposed to have taken her to school. Amy tells Gina that Lawrence made them change buses lots of times before just bringing Amy back home. When asked why, Amy tells her mother that it was because a ‘bad man’ was following Lawrence.

Lawrence is in the kitchen, burning their bus tickets over the sink. He tells Gina that there were people following him, that they wait outside the house for him to come out every morning.

Gina, however, knows that no one is there and is worried about Lawrence. She goes to see their GP. She explains how Lawrence lost his job a while ago because he said people had been whispering about him behind his back and plotting against him, so he left. She had realised that it was all in his head, that he had been imagining it, and he was sacked for behaving strangely.

She books an appointment for him to go and see the doctor. When he comes back, Lawrence turns wild and starts blaming Gina for everything, saying that it was her fault he was sacked. He yells at her and says that she’s conspiring against him and that she reports everything he does to these people who supposedly follow him.

Gina, scared at his sudden mood swing, calls Amy so that they can both get out of the house, but Lawrence pushes her out of the door and locks her out before Amy can follow. Gina calls for the doctor to come round, then later calls the police. Eventually, Lawrence lets Amy out and she is reunited with Gina. Lawrence is taken to the police station overnight, and Gina is assured he will be checked out by a psychiatrist.

The second episode was called 'Measures' and was first aired on 13 April 2007. She played...
