Updates

06/07/07 ~ Sandra Huggett Online has moved to a new location and has also had a mini revamp - hope you like the new look :) I am beginning to re-do the gallery as the pictures that were there were horrendous quality, so I will gradually replace them with proper screencaps (thanks to Saz, my new official screencapping person!)

Biography...

Sandra was born on 20th September 1973 in Surrey, but she grew up in Ross-On-Wye, Herefordshire. Her father is Brian Huggett, a professional golfer, and her mother is called Winnie. She has an older sister called Yvonne.

She attended Haberdashers Monmouth School for Girls before studying for a diploma in acting and musical theatre at Mountview Theatre School. She used to be a test driver for Ford. She now lives in North London.

Sandra’s first role on TV was as part of the original cast in Family Affairs in 1997. She played Holly Hart for two years before her character was killed. Sandra has said that her years on Family Affairs were vital training in TV and that she learned a lot.

Her next - and biggest - role was in Casualty as another Holly - Dr Holly Miles. She was part of Casualty for two years and Holly was a much loved character. Unfortunately, Holly had an abrupt exit that was never really explained - we'll never know what happened to her!

Since she left Casualty, Sandra has made one-off appearances in quite a few TV programmes: Doctors, Sweet Medicine, Too Good To Be True, If...The Lights Go Out, According to Bex, Donovan, Twisted Tales, Vincent, and Goldplated. For details about each of these, please see the television section.

She has also done a lot of theatre work over the past few years and appeared in a couple of films. She also works a great deal in the field of voice-overs and often narrates TV documentaries and can be heard on radio advertisements.
